AJ Fernandez has created one of the largest tobacco factories in the market, taking as inspiration all the techniques inherited from his father, who grew tobacco in his original Cuba. Once in Nicaragua, and with his company established, he was in charge of making cigars for other brands, until he took the risk of launching high-premium cigars under his own brand.
AJ Fernandez Bellas Artes is a medium to full-bodied cigar. It features a wrapper of “Rojita” (light red), hybrid tobacco grown in Nicaragua through the tri-national marriage of US Connecticut, Corojo, and Habano seeds. The wrapper is then applied over a Habano de Nicaragua binder and fillers from Brazil, Honduras and Nicaragua. Once lit, the Bellas Artes offers spicy and nutty flavors.
When you light the Bellas Artes Original cigar, it will start with a medium body and a flavor of cedar and pepper in the foreground, advancing you will find citrus notes among which the sweetness of orange stands out, ending with a dense creamy smoke with a taste of pepper, cedar and walnuts. A cigar for the humidor of a true enthusiast.
