MadCap: Lunatic, yet amusingly eccentric.
Madcap has been the cigar we’ve worked on for the most time, through multiple visits in the blending process that was spearheaded by Bradley Rubin, the Mullet Superstar and ideologist behind the name, some minor logistics delays, and most importantly, waiting for the cigar to smoke perfect. It’s where it should be now.
This has also been our biggest production yet, with certain production quantities allotted for our retail partners.
“While working on this brand with Alex, we noticed similarities in our personalities and goals. And that is to bring as much fun as possible to the cigar world. We’re in a business and culture that’s been around for hundreds of years and to create something unique is the biggest challenge. But creating something fun, is not. Madcap, meaning eccentric, is meant to bring out the fun in the cigar industry. To be our true selves and not take ourselves too seriously is the point of Madcap and it’s what we hope people get out of this cigar.”
We believe it’s everything you look for when you hunt for that unique Honduran savory flavor with the cocoa & coffee contrast from the San Andres coating. You will find MadCap to be complex, with a dense body, yet lightly nuanced by a few flavors that don’t antagonize the main nuts, salted caramel, cocoa, and some herbs & spices.
