The cigar is inspired by the story of, Jesse James, or rather, the alias that James used JD Howard while living in the city of Nashville, Tennessee when he was trying to establish a normal life after a bank robbery in 1876 in Minnesota that resulted in the death or arrest of several members of his gang.
The Crowned Heads JD Howard Reserve is a medium to full-bodied cigar, hand-rolled in the Dominican Republic at EP Carrillo’s Tabacalera La Alianza factory. It has a jagged wrapper of Brazilian Arapiraca, Ecuadorian Sumatran binder and long Nicaraguan fillers, which provide notes of wood, spices and coffee.
It gives us a mottled brown wrapper with a light wrapper of shine, with tiny veins and teeth that give it a certain visual and tactile texture, adding a soft aroma of cotton, chocolate and small notes of pepper.
Its body, strength and flavor make it an obligatory cigar that experts and enthusiasts should keep in their humidor, enjoying it during a walk through the countryside or accompanied by a bourbon whiskey
