Description
If you’ve heard about this cigar, then you probably know its creator Master-blender and Godfather of cigars Ernesto Perez-Carillo has described it as tasting as ‘chocolate soufflé,’ a signature French dessert known to the world for more than two centuries… Oh, it does in fact taste like chocolate soufflé. Produced in the esteemed La Alianza factory in the Dominican Republic, home of EPC cigars and many other successful brands, the Le Careme by Crowned Heads is a medium-bodied cigar named after French cuisine pioneer Marie Antoine Careme, known for popularizing the aforementioned desert. The band’s design is unpretentious, yet appropriate; the cigar features an oily, dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, which is applied onto a bunch of Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and Nicaraguan fillers, delivering unique flavors of dark chocolate, dark roast espresso, black cherry, and mild licorice spice.
