Jon Huber of Crowned Heads has once again added a Limited Edition cigar to the Mil Días line with Marranitos. Taking everything that the previous Marevas, Escogidos, and Mágicos had stood out for, Crowned Heads focused on the wrapper and have delivered with an Ecuadorian Sumatra Maduro for Marranitos over the blend of Nicaraguan, Costa Rican, and Peruvian tobaccos that make up the cigar.
The effect that a stronger wrapper has on a blend like Mil Dias’ cannot be overstated. The highlights change their direction and the undertones evolve into meatier mineral tones that complement the weighty wood and expressive earthy flavors.
