Crux Cigars’ production partner, the Plasencias, in Esteli, Nicaragua, produces the Crux Bull & Bear. Crux Bull & Bear features elements of the distinctive packaging found in other Crux products.
The Habano wrapper on Crux Bull & Bear has a medium to dark hue with minor veins and thin seams.
The smoke opens with earthy flavors of cedar, cocoa, and a distinct minty touch. The retro-hale brought layers of cedar and red pepper, as well as highlighting its signature minty aroma. The cedar rises and becomes the primary theme in the first third. Meanwhile, earthy and chocolaty scents were largely in the background, but they made an appearance in the foreground now and again. The mint note is still there, but it’s faded into the background.
The pepper spices will reach a peak around the end of the Crux Bull & Bear. These take center stage, accompanied by cedar tones. There were still hints of earth, chocolate, and mint in the aroma, but the spices were the dominant note throughout the cigar.
Bull & Bear cigars were created for all smokers to enjoy, and one will be able to enjoy the smoothness and balance found in them. Its iconic packaging, which has a vivid, well-finished blue box with the image of its iconic bulls and bears depicted in the best Yin-Yang style.
