As usual, the manufacturing schedule is being set by the tobaccos themselves, but the result is a strong blend with thick clouds of smoke that are interspersed with earthy, chocolatey, coffee-like, and mildly peppery, which makes the waiting period for availability worth the trouble every single time.
Mi Querida, which means “my dear” in English, is a somewhat provocative term used to specifically refer to one’s hidden mistress in Nicaragua. According to Steve Saka, this cigar embodies his special maduro desires: a powerful, intensely flavored blend made of rich Nicaraguan leaves that is expertly hand-rolled in a thick, 100% naturally fermented Broadleaf wrapper. Mi Querida is beautifully rich and full bodied on the palate, delivering a highly fulfilling experience for the most passionate of cigar smokers. It is earthy and deep with a lengthy teasing, somewhat filthy finish.
