El Prestigio is a micro-brand under the My Cigar Pack Premium Cigar Brand umbrella originally created to celebrate my sister’s wedding and was dubbed El Principio, which means the beginning in Spanish and represented the start of my sister and her husband’s married life together. The name was modified to El Prestigio and the E.P. logo is the emblem made to represent the names of the newlyweds Erika and Philippe. The original blend was impressive, originally carrying two different wrappers: San Andres and Connecticut Ecuador. The profile was medium bodied in terms of strength, mid complexity, extremely balanced and with little volatility as this was catered to both non-smokers and aficionados. The blend was tweaked and the wrapper was changed to a Habano Ecuador, producing a more complex experience while maintaining tons of balance and the original blend’s essence, producing main notes of caramel, cashew butter, earthy undertones, and espresso foam.
