Description
Fratello Bianco hails from the renowned Joya de Nicaragua factory, coming draped in a dark and oily San Andres Maduro wrapper, encasing a Dominican binder and a blend of Nicaraguan, Peruvian, and Pennsylvania Broadleaf long-fillers.
Our good friend and giant Omar De Frias claims that the Bianco is one of the smoothest maduro blends in the market thanks to the combination of fillers that yield cocoa, earth, and creamy notes throughout the smoke. He may be onto something… As much of Fratello’s branding, the Bianco utilizes an Italian denomination for the color white. One of the most notorious elements once you’ve got this cigar in your hands is the mesmerizing hue of the delightful mocha-brown San Andres Wrapper, which is perhaps the front-running component with the cocoa and chocolate flavors. A heavy leather and barnyard taste likely comes from the Dominican binder component, followed closely by main notes of coffee, oak-wood, and some sort of red dried fruit. Rich and balanced blend with mild complexity and low pepper presence + mostly sweet-woody profile is one solid Fratello to keep in your humidor.
