Description
With JC Newman’s Brick House, the company’s history and humble beginnings were placed center stage for the world to enjoy. Continuing the success story of the original, Brick House Maduro was launched, featuring a similar blend but with a Brazilian arapiraca wrapper instead of the original Nicaraguan Habano. The main black pepper and coffee notes of the original remain, but the Brazilian wrapper plays an important role in bringing out a sweet and sugary roasted aroma that allows the herbal notes to make their way on the palate as well.
As for its appearance, the Brick House Maduro has a chocolate brown wrapper, typical of a Maduro leaf, with little oil and some streaks on the stick. Notes of earth, anise and espresso beans emanate from the wrapper, while the foot was much more earthy, with notes of manure overlaid with some cedar and cocoa powder.
The strength and body of the cigar are perfectly balanced, starting at a medium level and gaining intensity until reaching medium to full power. This is an ideal cigar to be accompanied by a bourbon whiskey, which can be enjoyed by experienced smokers to the most experienced smokers.
