E.L.A (Edición Limitada America) is the result of a long lasting friendship between Matilde Co-founder (Enrique Seijas), My Cigar Pack founder (Alexander Berezowski) and Tabacalera La Isla founder (Hostos Fernandez).
The project was conceived when Alexander and Enrique both visited Hostos for different projects in early 2021. Once they were all together it was obvious that they would develop something together and planning began right away.
Enter E.L.A. (which sounds like the name ELA) is comprised of 100% Dominican fillers (HVA, Criollo 98, and Piloto), a Dominican binder and a Mexican wrapper. The cigar is medium in strength and envelops the palate with a long finish of sweetness from dried fruits and spices. Aromas are reminiscent of earth and leather, with nuances of oak and undertones of vanilla.
ELA is destined as a limited run, not due to tobacco scarcity but given the project’s objective with the market in the Americas. It will be introduced to the market as a My Cigar Pack cigar, available exclusively for MCP members and Cigaryard.com visitors. A short run will later become available to retailers in the Americas.
