CROWNED HEADS LE PATISSIER 2022

Le Pâtissier is a very familiar name to those who have followed Crowned Heads and Jon Huber for a while. It was a limited edition cigar that innovated with a blend of Costa Rican and Nicaraguan tobaccos as well as a Nicaragua and Connecticut Broadleaf binder and wrapper combo. The result was an audacious flavor profile of earthy, peppery, toasted flavors with sweet hints of freshly baked bread making their way in and out of the fold with every odd puff.

It wasn't all smooth sailing for Le Pâtissier , however, as Halfwheel reviewed seemingly over-humidated samples and struck it with a score of 76. We've had better luck with the original and subsequently gave it a score of 69, because that's what smoking it felt like. Anyway, whether or not this cigar had to become a regular production offering was a resounding "yes" for us. We love every go at Le Pâtissier that we can get, and we're extremely excited to see the blend reinvented in new vitolas and with more than enough stock to fill our hearts with joy.
